Who does not love pancakes? One of the best sweet breakfasts but also can be made in a fit version, so you don't have to feel guilty AT ALL!
Protein pancakes are not anything new, they can be made in any way you like and that is why I eat them almost every day as my breakfast (no joke😅), I also tried many different ways to do them and today I am going to share with you my last version on pancakes. 😅
The recipe is very easy and you can do them always a different way. YUM.
1 portion (2 medium or 4 small pancakes):
1 scoop of protein (I usually use Bulk Powders - they have great and natural flavours)
120 g low-fat Greek yoghurt
20g flour (it is optional, however, it gives pancakes more real pancake texture)
additional milk if needed (I use Alpro - unsweetened almond)
On top, you can use whatever you like! At the picture is a quark, unsweetened jam, cinnamon, pomegranate and walnuts.
My other favourite is with cottage cheese and raspberries, a little bit of honey when I have a mood😅, nuts, cinnamon and sprinkle of maca powder. Another good one is PB Jelly - omg, or custard - omg😅. I am pretty sure you have your own fav pancakes style and I could name it forever, but if you want to really macro-friendly, cottage, fruit and nuts, for example, are my usual combo. 😋 You can try some of the ready pancakes protein powders.
